Los Angeles Wine-Double Gold Winning Wine and Spirits Dinner with Anthony Dias Blue

Celebrate the Double Gold winners of the 2008 San Francisco International Wine Competition and the 2008 San Francisco World Spirits Competition at a special dinner hosted by noted wine & spirits personality Anthony Dias Blue and The Tasting Panel Magazine. Enjoy a welcome reception tasting of 20-30 Double Gold wines and spirits, followed by a dinner paired with Double Gold winning wines at Citrus at Social,  James Beard Foundation's Outstanding Chef 2007 Michel Richard's newest Los Angeles restaurant.  The California-French menu, which emphasizes fresh local ingredients with a distinct European sensibility, will be prepared exclusively with a selection of Double Gold winners. Mr. Blue will provide a course-by-course narrative.

The San Francisco World Spirits Competition is the first competition of its kind to be held in the United States.  Director Anthony Dias Blue and Chief Judge F. Paul Pacult, the noted spirits journalist, have assembled a blue ribbon panel of celebrated spirits experts.  In 2008 these judges tasted 847 spirits from 63 countries.

The San Francisco International Wine Competition is the largest and most prestigious wine competition in the United States.  In 2008 4,250 wines were entered from 27 states and 21 nations.
