Discover California’s! monthly series of interactive wine tastings called, “A Taste of California,” will offer a special Wine Maker’s tasting featuring David Girard Vineyards and Mt. Vernon Winery. Join Mari Wells of David Girard and Ryan Taylor of Mt. Vernon in our cool wine cellar and sample their best. A selection of California cheeses will accompany. We are also featuring William Hedge on piano for your listening pleasure. Hourly prize drawings and complimentary Discover California! wine glass. The event will be held on Friday, September 12th at Discover California!, Sacramento’s only underground wine bar, located at 114 J Street in Old Sacramento, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The cost is $15 per person.
